I've always enjoyed depth of relationships, instead of breadth. In other words, I've always had a few good friends instead of a lot of acquaintances. However, in recent years, it has been difficult for me to find people to make strong connections with. Part of the reason, I think, is that most people just don't have the skills to be good friends any longer. Wikipedia tells me that 'friendship' has been on the decline in the US since about x . Another reason I have difficulty connecting with most people is because I do what I say and say what I do - and I've found that most people aren't used to that; it freaks a lot of people out. I also feel it is my duty as a member of the human race to hold people accountable to do what they say and say what they do - and that REALLY freaks people out.
